SMS Calendar ("the Service") allows you to create Google Calendar events by sending text messages, images, or screenshots to a phone number. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
The Service relies on the following third-party providers, each governed by their own privacy policies:
SMS Calendar's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Specifically, data obtained through Google Workspace APIs is used solely to provide and improve the user-facing features of the Service (creating and managing your calendar events). We do not transfer or sell this data to third parties, do not use it for advertising, do not allow humans to read it except as required for security or to comply with applicable law, and do not use it to develop, improve, or train generalized or non-personalized AI and/or ML models.
Your phone number, timezone, and Google OAuth tokens are retained as long as your account is active. Pending event records are retained for 30 days then automatically purged. Message content and images are not stored after processing.
OAuth tokens are stored in an encrypted-at-rest database. All communication between the Service and third-party APIs uses TLS. We do not log raw message content beyond what is necessary for processing.
You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by texting DELETE MY DATA to the Service number. You may also revoke Google Calendar access at any time via your Google Account permissions.
The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
